Final Arrangements for Major Gene Duncan

Col. Walt Ford has done an outstanding job making the final arrangements for my father’s burial and service at Quantico. I hope you can attend. Here are the arrangements:

Major Gene Duncan Passes

It is with a sad heart that we announce that Major Gene Duncan passed away February 14th at his home in Fort Wayne Indiana around 7pm. Thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.  He certainly epitomized the saying – “Once a Marine, Always a Marine” and will most certainly be missed by his Tanker family.  Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Capt. G.G. Sweet USMCR, 1917-2010

Capt. G.G. Sweet USMC, Ret, a mustang who served in many enlisted, warrant and officer ranks, who served in WWII and in Korea in 1950-51, passed away at his home on June 18th in Pahrump, NV. Capt. Sweet was born in South Chicago and served in the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 30′s. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1938 and retired in 1958.
