The Marine Corps Tankers Association is an elite, close knit group who have earned a highly respected reputation within the brotherhood and history of theĀ United States Marine Corps. Within a few short years the Association grew from a handful of Tankers to over one thousand Marine warriors located throughout the USA and overseas.

The Membership includes warriors who have participated in every battle where Marine tanks were committed in support of a Marine infantry unit. Tank unit battle honors commenced prior to and during WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and many smaller missions in between.

Twelve years ago the Board of Directors determined a need to develop a program to financially assist needy and deserving members or their families in obtaining a higher education. To this end, or scholarship committee has selected and awarded over three hundred thousand dollars in scholarships to deserving applicants.

The Marine Corps Association Foundation was established as a private California foundation. The purpose of the corporation is exclusively for charitable purposes and falls under the IRC Section501(c),(3). Thankfully we have been able to perpetuate and maintain the funds to allow us to continue this worthwhile mission on a limited scale. This has been possible through the hard work and dedication of our membership.

The goals of foundation are to provide charitable and financial aid to qualified applicants who are members, survivors and dependents of members of the Association and to design, produce, and dedicated appropriate monuments to honor the memory of our fallen comrades and to perpetuate the eternal living spirit of all USMC tankers whose legacy of valor, loyalty, innovation and honor in peace and war continues to serve the final interests of our Nation and the Marine Corps.
